White balance

White balance corrects color casts caused by different light sources. Different lights have different color temperatures: daylight is bluish, tungsten bulbs are orange, and fluorescent lights can be green. Incorrect white balance makes products appear the wrong color, which is a major problem for e-commerce where customers expect accurate colors. Setting proper white balance ensures whites look white and all other colors are rendered accurately.
